IMPERIAL VIPERS
Evolving from a gang of mates with a shared love of rock n roll, Imperial Vipers exploded into action in early 2003. Ripping out tunes that fall somewhere between Soundgarden & The Clash their sound and live performance is hard to pigeon-hole and has been described quite simply as "Street Rock" by Anne Maria from Total Rock, a genre that the band identify with. "We were sick of all these public school pussies making what they claimed to be rock n roll music so we just had to show em how its done" says lead guitarist and main songwriter Wevs. Front man Ash Simmons adds "we're proud to be a British band who make real songs about real stuff but still have a good time doing it." The London & Luton based five-piece have already notched up an impressive list of successes throughout the UK and Europe. 2006 has seen them tour with the likes of the legendary Hanoi Rocks who loved the band's "energy and passion" and Ginger of Wildhearts fame who described them as "the best new band around." As well as playing with Marky Ramone, Supergrass, Goldie Lookin Chain and Towers Of London they also headlined both the Kone Funboard Festival to an audience of 10,000 at the Bercy Stadium in Paris and the 2004 World X-treme Sports Exhibition. In short, the Vipers swaggering and gritty rock n roll has already won them a legion of fans. The likes of Radio 1s Colin Murray, XFMs Ian Camfield, Iron Maiden front man and BBC 6 Music DJ Bruce Dickinson have all been vocal in their support of the band, as have leading UK rock magazines Classic Rock who gave debut album Searching:Falling:Silence an 8/10 rating, and Kerrang! who called them "an authentic shit-kicking rock n roll band with potential to cause structural damage." Meanwhile the band will carry on as they always have - playing shows, writing songs and doing things their own way without compromise. Imperial Vipers have arrived make sure you dont miss the ride.
Heavens Basement
Born from the five corners of the UK with a sole ambition between them; to reach the summit of their potential and to be regarded alongside the bands that inspired them. Heaven's Basement are about evolution, growth and reaching new heights. Defiance, risk taking, and self-challenge are their hallmarks. "We're all about big, energetic, statements of intent", says frontman Richie. "We're the band that will make you fall in love with Rock n' Roll all over again". Alias
We are a five piece based in Bedfordshire. A spin off of different projects from various styles of music over a period of about 7 years. A few friends sharing an inspiration and charisma for writing music and performing. We have been in the studio recording some of our tracks and these will be available for you all to hear on December 10th 2007. We hope to push this forward in the new year and get on the road touring and doing shows. So for now please help us spread the word, and tell your friends.
Elanors Tribute
ET formed in the year 2005 with three members meeting through skating and school, they went on to form Elanors Tribute. They set out to make music they love and hoped other people would also love it. They had their very first gig at the LYWAG youth festival in july and seemed to attract some attention. After many gigs down the line they have developed quite a local following and had have been labeled as "Dunstable's most talented and upcoming band". There comes a time when change occurs and Adam decided to leave the band due to personal reasons and is now playing in other bands. So now everyone, we have the new era of Elanors Tribute! Cully former riot plan drummer joined the band on the 27th of Jan 2007 and immediately brought a fresh new perspective and passion to ET. Within six hours he had picked up all of our songs and has helped to improve them. Months on they are still striving to improve every aspect of their music and produce something truley original instead of follow the trends of fashion music!!! Fate of a Stranger
5 friends who share a passion for music who have come together to bring their own self styled brand of post-hardcore rock to the music scene. Drawing inspiration from bands far and wide from the likes of FFAF, Beyond All Reason & We are the Ocean to name a few. Dedicated to getting back to the core of good songwriting and embracing the music we love.
