It is with deepest regret that we have to announce that one of our dearest Friends and brightest talents, Barry Connell, has sadly passed away.
Our thoughts are with his fiancée Amanda and family
The Goodgreef and Fire It Up ‘The Mental Unit’ Sunday May 4th 2008 is a dedication to Barry, and for our loyal crowd to have a night the way he would have had it is the best way of honouring his memory.
We will be observing a minute’s applause at 0400 after a brief announcement
The last hour of this event will be a special tribute to Barry; we will be playing his Radio 1 Essential Mix, in the ‘Fire It Up main ward’ recorded live from Inside out at the Arches, Glasgow 12th April 2008
We thank you for your understanding in this difficult matter and hope you can join us in celebrating Barry’s life with a party he would be proud of.
