Description
The Cargo restaurant sits snuggly under the arches in Shoreditch; an area of London that could easily be described as being at the forefront of London's independent art scene. In an area long colonised by the creative industries, it's with great pleasure that the restaurant is to host its own art events showcasing the works of up and coming artists. The restaurant art space will encompass a relaxed atmosphere in which visitors can eat, drink and soak up the work and talent of young artisans.
The art space will launch on Monday 7th July with the first two months displaying the work of Agnieszka Mlicka, an exceptional artist who's combination of drawing and painting is inspired by architecture, the city and urban planning. Mlicka's work should sit well within the ex-industrial landscape that is Hackney and is an artist who Cargo feels privileged to present to its public.
Look out for future events showing the works
of other artists in a variety of styles and media's.
