DJ Jochem, born on the 6th of March in 1981, started to love house music in his early days. In 1997 he bought his first records and decided to build up a dj-career… it became his biggest hobby!
In 1999 he began to play in Life Palace. After two years spinning with a lot of well-known dj’s, Jochem developed his own style. He showed his skills at a lot of parties in Limburg and Belgium. He played at all editions of the popular event Trancemania in Maastricht and later on he became also resident of Dance Code Productions.
In 2001 Jochem was behind the wheels weekly in club/afterclub Lazzurra in Maaseik. Even at this place Jochem made the crowed go insane by playing a good combination of groove and progressive/ trance. He was also booked to play at the FFWD Parade in Rotterdam. Jochem was known by a growing number of people and his love for the music became bigger and bigger.
In 2002 all the efforts of Jochem were paid well. Dance Code made it possible for him to play for a big audience at the event called Overload. In front of 10.000 people… a dream became reality! In this year he was resident in local clubs
One year later, it seems that major events started to follow Jochem. Again at Overload and events like Frequence and Ultrashock. He also improved himself to became resident in one of Holland’s most spectacular locations: the church Nightlive. Recently Jochem has four different places where he’s a monthly resident dj; Nightlive, Barocco, Mondial and Lazzurra. Besides that he has finished his first record and working in the studio on several projects
DJ Jochem stands for groove/progressive/house. Music 4 the party people!
