I am a party rockin' dj that plays all over Europe from my base in Bristol UK and Freiburg Germany. I spin a unique style that combines Jazz Funk, House and Breaks of all kinds, added with a little bit of turntablism and my own mash ups thats been described as party rockin! It has been now 12 years and mixing various styles to multitudes of people all over the UK and Europe. Specializing in bassline driven house, elctro and funky phat breakz, Major Lee Blunt has supported some of the top artists in these fields, including Krafty Kuts, The Scratch Perverts, Tom Neville and The Legendary Freestylers. Long time resident and guest of Ponana's in Portsmouth and around the UK also K2 Nightclub & Mbargo, Bristol have shown that playing a diverse quality of fresh and classic dancefloor music can pull in crowds much better and be more competitive than the mainstream bars and nightclubs which flood todays market. Producing trax under the names Major Lee Blunt & Paul Ricard and at present looking for signings and further prospects to push 'this' sound! Currently living in Freiburg, Germany and guesting in the area and trying to establish residencies in some of the smoothest venus in the area, after recently rocking the crowd at the last ever night @ F Club - things are moving onwards and upwards with spots on local web radio like www.ramp-fm.de & a new weekly radio slot on www.welovehouse.fm Music Styles... This journey lead to the discovery of house and the love affair will never end. Once resident of Ponana in Portsmouth opportunities arose with warming up for some of his favourite DJ's and Producers, the likes of Jon Carter (Monkey Mafia), Krafty Kuts & Norman Jay MBE to name a few. Other occasion's, Concentrate, Shining Light & FourPlay were home to some of the best nights on the south coast with Major Lee and friends always bringing down the house with quality vibes Gained more experience on Pirate Radio stations and internet radio station www.dyanmicbreaks.com to spread his sound. A few years ago major found himself working ships to try to widen his experience and scope. The ships include the Queen Elizabeth 2, Queen Mary 2 and the Ocean Village. With an ability to play nearly every style of music and when to play it has made Major very successful in local clubs and bars where the music is key to the nightlife. Playing international gigs such as F-Club, Germany, A tour of Meribel Ski resort in France and The Party Crew Cafe in Amsterdam has also given expeience in Europe. Major has played in so many varied places from a night on a dissused miltary fort in the middle of the sea to the formal christmas ball at Cardiff National Muesem!! In the past few years, Major has been resident at the highly celebrated nightspots K2, Mbargo in Bristol, Pam Pam's and Soda Bar also in Bristol.
