Today the name Mr. Da-Nos belongs to on of the most well-known and most successful music artists of Switzerland. Mr. Da-Nos is undoubtedly a phenomenon as a DJ and also as a producer and remixer and requires actually no further explanations. Thanks to his original productions and remixes he was also able to celebrate successes abroad and his technical and speedy djing caused quite a sensation in well-known clubs around the world.
After the first publication of the compilation \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"House-Nation\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" in February 1998 and the establishment of the label and booking agency \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Groovemusic\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\", he and his partners finally made their national break-through in 2003. As the first and only Swiss house artist he reached within two weeks the number one of the dance charts with his hit \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"I promised you anything\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\". Christian Ertl is also well-known from the Swiss Eurovision show where he performed with the a cappella group A-live. At the same time the video, was nominated for the Dance Awards as the best video clip 2003 .
Mr. Da-Nos published parallel to this song the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Groovin House Cafe Compilation\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" with international tracks and performers that placed in the charts as well all over Switzerland.
Further successful projects followed in May 2004 and reached the Top Ten of the Swiss charts. He put his mark on the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Kingshouse\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" partie series and the compilation \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Kingshouse volume 4” that were well-known far over the border and gave them a trendy polish with brilliant scratch-breaks and electrical elements.
Mr. Da-Nos had his final break-through after creating a song in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Funk band \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Freakout\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" that turned into a proper hymn in Europe and was published world-wide by G-Pop Entertainment in the Middle East, Asia, Japan, Australia and Malaysia. This DJ & Band constellation produced the recording and the new editing (cover-version) of the classic song \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"long train running\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" (Doobie Brothers), which even made it into the British and the Greek charts. With the elaborate video clip to the song \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Mr. Da Nos feat. Freakout\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\", he beat all nominated front runners to the 2004 dance award. It was the the first Swiss live-house Project which was in the Top 40 of the official media control single charts.
After this large success he published his first debut album \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Groovemusic\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" with more self-produced songs and club hits (Hot stuff, Es loca…) in the autumn 2004 and the album immediately hit the charts.
A further highlight was the radio presentation of the No.1 Swiss dance show \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Raveculture\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\", which he has presented live on air with his colleague Ralf Woldt from 1998 to2004 on radio TOP .
The innumerable national and international gigs that even led him with his live formation \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Freakout\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" to New York and India brought him class and respect. Already very early Mr. Da-Nos tried to follow the trend of combining DJ and band with live instruments by performing with drum set and keyboard. He likes to stand out, to be in contrast to others and to offer the audience apart from the acoustic entertainment also optically a special set. You can feel his ambition, his power when mixing and his attention to the audience. When Mr. Da-Nos is doing his set, you can definitely not resist his appeal.
His secret is his absolute devotion! When he is behind the turntables, you can look forward to an excessive party night. With numerous bookings in the past years he belongs to the most booked DJs.
At the end of 2004 he realized a new project with the Cuban band \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Nieto y solucion” (Member Of Buena Vista Social Club) whose repertoire almost certainly contains songs that Mr. Da-Nos could use as base for another club hit.
At the beginning of the year 2005 the 5th Kingshouse-Compilation was published and it was again presented by Mr. Da-Nos. All previous sales successes since the existence of the successful and glamorous CD series could be surpassed.
After the production of electronic and pumping house sound, Mr. Da-Nos also became interested in the production of R&B music and produced together with Ghana RWSBY \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Henry the Campbell\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" and the Indonesian singer \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Uci\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" the Song \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Shake (let me ride ya)\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" which is planned to appear in 2006.
The second album by Mr. Da-Nos \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Check in 2 my House\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" appeared on the 20th of August 2005 with new studio productions including the clubburner “Get on the floor” and in the middle of September 2005 the single and the video \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Play that funky music\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" with the Freakout band appeared.
On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the Kingshouse series Mr. Da-Nos set a further milestone in its career with the publication of the Compilation \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Volume 6\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" at the end of 2005.
