Description
ALL DIFFERENT / ALL EQUAL / ALL NIGHT. This has been our motto since our first event over 15 years ago. Glasshouse has grown from a house party into one of Englands best kept clubbing secrets. This is the place to be if you're into music, playing anything from funky house to dirty tech and we always keeping an eye on whats coming next. We have three rooms of hedonistic pleasure, catering for all musical appetites. Come party with the likes of Martijn Ten Velden, Sandy Rivera or even Babyshambles as they spin a musical frenzy to the best clubbing crowd the City has to offer. DJ legends who have previously played at Glasshouse include David Morales, Sander Klienenberg, Junior Jack, Laidback Luke to name a few. So it's time to get deep down and dirty cos we at Glasshouse know how to party, in fact we do it until 9am every Saturday Glasshouse has always been known for quality music, encompassing the house music genre across both rooms. We are now about to break the mould… enter Glasshouse Republic. Hosting a monthly Annexe party giving a third room, featuring Indie, pop and electro, a real mish mash of music, catering for all genres. Providing the soundtrack will be high profile band members that will blow you away. Currently booked and confirmed are The Babyshambles, Robots in Disguise and Dirty Pretty Things!! (More acts will be confirmed ). Join our weekly Saturday nights at Club Mission in Leeds
Federation Underground at Mission back in May completely stole the show. Resident DJs played out of their skins, graffiti artists entertained in the terrace, MCs and breakdancers added their unique flavour to what contributed to become one hell of a night. So now, Federation followers who have bombarded Federation HQ with hundreds of emails and phone calls over the past few weeks (asking when Federation will add ‘Leeds’ back to its portfolio) are over the moon at a weekly event in a city considered to be its humble home.
The main room will be Federation’s unmistakably turbo charged funk, with funky electro house in the second room – and SAS doing the classics thing as only they know how in the Annexe. Nik Denton, Stuart Robinson, Gavin Lampitt, Greg Myers, Michael Park, Gregg Holden, Jason Guy, Micky Lloyd & FunknDisorderly – all firm Federation favourites in their own right – will also be on hand to supply the music from 11pm all the way through to 9am in the main arena. The second arena is set to rock with an exclusive residency from Daley Padley; alongside a reliable contingent of Drew Scott, Marc Leaf, Andras, Gary H, Paul Rough, Oli8-170 and Gary Holden.
Each week, there’ll be a real emphasis on a particular style of Federation event – with Federation Underground events (and all the MCs, graffiti artistes, breakdancers that go with it!) holding their place alongside the extremely-popular Fedatrical style events (featuring glorious stage production of classic vaudeville) – and there’ll be parties around the corner for the likes of Halloween and Bonfire Night. Each night will feature ‘In Bed With Fed’ which will be a special area in the boudoir with a huge four poster bed. Hosted by the adorable Federation drag queens, it’ll be a place to take five and be pampered (makeovers, Horlicks, Fedtime stories) before continuing your night.
Expect different themes, expect no expense spared, expect quality and consistency, as ever. Expect string quartets; the Fedettes and other drag queens; the weird, the wonderful and the downright outrageous.
We’re back.
