Lose Control is back! The sleekest, most stylish new night at London’s super club Pacha returns on Bank Holiday Sunday, 4th May with a line up to blow your mind!
Heading up this plethora of talent is Hoxton Whores - one of the most talked about House double acts around. Industry stalwarts with 15 years DJing and production experience under their collective belts, the Hoxton Whores remain at the forefront of the clubbing scene and truly know how to work the crowd. Charged with a selection of their own remixes (for the likes of Faithless, Danny Howells, Infernal, Njoi, Moloko, Judy Cheeks & Todd Terry to name but a few!) to throw into their trademark dirt-laced funky pumping electro and vocal uplifting mix, they mean business - be prepared!
Joining the Hoxton Whores is Manchester Mash-up Maestro Jason Herd – internationally revered for his versatility and down right godliness behind both the boards and the decks. Representing 50% of the production outfit Herd&Fitz, Jason has garnered support from the likes of Pete Tong, and has several releases on Subliminal. As a DJ, Jason plays many high profile clubs across the globe, using his trademark unique blend of a cappella’s and mash-ups to provide exciting bespoke sets for thousands and fuelling his fire as the hottest DJ/Producer of the moment!
In this age of remixing and sampling, It’s not very often you get the chance to relive the early club classics in a live environment - but thanks to Lose Control, they have lined up a Live PA of the 2008 remix of the 1992 smash ‘Fine Day’ Feat Kirsty Hawkshaw, performed by original vocalist Kirsty herself – a classy gloss to this wonderfully luxurious clubbing experience!
Future Freakz have been very busy in the studio of late and are creating quite a stir with the release of their own Fine Day remix, as well as the release of their remix of Sound De-Zign’s ‘Happiness’. The Freakz have an impressive profile – with remix releases on labels such as Gusto, Loverush Records, AATW and Turbulence and a huge following of their driving, uplifting DJ sets – it’s easy to see why they have support mounting up from industry figures such as Oliver Lang, Peter Gelderblom & Robbie Rivera.
Lose Control residents will also be adding their sparkle to the night – with the mighty Dave Winney, Joelle Atkins and Rob Grant representing the Lose Control ethos and moving the masses like no other.
As if this wasn’t enough, Lose Control have loaded the Funky Boudoir with a delicious selection of musical delights, ripe for the picking…With sets from Simon Hills & Digital Dog, James Good & Glenn Ford plus many more. This night is going to be one to remember – Lose Control invite you to a night of indulgent and irresistible clubbing to see in the Bank Holiday.
