Description
Blind Tiger is inspired by 1920s Speakeasies. The underground, decadent
nature of these parties gave the ‘Roaring Twenties’ its nickname. AKA’s
Fridays are a nod back to those heady times – with secret passwords; a
clandestine entrance to the venue; popular cocktails of the day; weekly
burlesque showcases, and the venue brought alive with 1920s visuals and
décor.
Our DJ for the night, Aldo Vanucci, plays everyone’s favourite records. A
genre-spanning genius, he plays a mix of the coolest soul, classic hip hop,
disco and indie - records that make you smile or have you heading for the
dancefloor. Labelled an ‘obsessive vinyl junkie’ by Fatboy Slim, he's the
perfect person to head up our Speakeasy soundsystem.
Pizza Express pizzas are available
for an after-work meal or a late evening
snack.
