Description
Announcement from Slinky HQ Leeds:
Steve O'Brady:
We thought we would let the loss of Steve O'Brady sink in and take time to think of how we could replace a talented young man such as Steve for our opening party in Leeds. After taking much thought and consideration we have decided to bring on board Steve's driver Chris Cooke aka Cooki V and alongside Kevsey D who will both be paying tribute to one of the most promising artists to appear on the scene in years.
RIP Steve O'Brady.

South Coast superclub Slinky is branching out and making a home for itself across the three room club suite at Leeds University Union. With an international reputation for hosting spectacular parties featuring world renowned DJs and underpinned by a choice team of residents, Slinky will bring the grandeur they are famous for to the opening night of their residency in Leeds.
Slinky has a history spanning over 10 years, and is credited with kick-starting the clubbing revolution for the Bournemouth area. Opening in May 1997 at the Opera House nightclub with a four hour set from Laurent Garnier, it has played home to virtually every super star DJ under the sun, including numerous appearances from Tiesto, Carl Cox and Paul Van Dyk. With residences past and present in Ibiza and Tokyo, and sell out events all over Europe, Asia and the US, Slinky is excited to be launching in the clubbing capital of the north.
Lee Haslam, Head of Events for Slinky said "Leeds and the north has been on the road map for quite some time, myself a northerner born and bred, I'm delighted to bring the Slinky magic to this amazing venue, I'm also looking forward to a 30 minute drive home, rather then the four hour ones I have when we rock Bournemouth every month."
Now with a refurbished 5 million pound flagship home in Bournemouth under their wing, plus UK residencies in Bristol, Newquay and London, the North is the next step for Slinky -bringing along the top class DJs and resolutely high production values associated with this clubbing brand.
To get the party started in Leeds June 28th, Slinky have hand picked a selection of the finest DJs from the worlds of Trance and Hard House including:
