Beaucoup pensent qu’ATFC est un groupe au vu de leur succès. Mais ATFC est un seul homme, qui de surcroît à moins de 30ans!. Un homme qui est déjà parvenu à inscrire 2 titres dans le top 20 anglais, qui a un label qui cartonne « OnephatDeeva », une liste de remixes longue comme un bras, et dont son agenda dj est plus que chargé de dates d’exception! L’auteur des tubes « Bad Habit » « Sleep Talk » ou « In and out of My Life » (Fatboy Slim “Right Here, Right Now”, avec un vocal), proche de Defected ATFC, Aydin Hasirci pour les intimes, est un artiste de 28 ans est considéré comme un des derniers émergent du style house version oldschool. Egalement connu sous le pseudonyme de Aydin The Funki Chile, cet artiste hollandais à déjà près de 15 ans de carrière de dj derrière
ATFC said goodbye to 2007 in style. His recent remix of Dubfire's 'Roadkill' was described as 'verging on genius' by Pete Tong. 'Ya Killin Me' was currently being sought out by all the major players in the house world, and he'd just signed exciting single and album deals with 2 of the most respected labels around. His recent dj tour of the Far East, Asia and Australia was a huge success with the highlight being the Summerdayze Festival In Perth playing to a crowd of over 20,000 strong. He welcomed 2008 in, at Cargo in Sydney and finished the tour of at the internationally acclaimed club, Attica in Singapore.
Having just mixed the Defected Miami album he’ll be playing at the WMC for Defected @ Set, joining Robbie Rivera for a Juicy Music session @ Nikki Beach and spinning alongside Mr Mike and the Map Dance crew at the Astor Hotel among others.
In 2008 you’ll see ATFC appearing on both Defected and Toolroom Records, proving that, if nothing else, the man's more versatile than he looks!
For his own labels, Onephatdeeva and Onephatdeepa, he’ll be concentrating on releasing underground tunes from new & upcoming artists. Released as download only this will enable the label to continue to thrive and achieve what is was set up to do: release music that otherwise wouldn’t be heard.
It’s well known that ATFC has had three UK top forty hits, played at some of the biggest festivals and clubs around the world during his 18 years as a producer and dj and remixed some the best known artists in the world, like Moby, Missy Elliot, P Diddy and Fat Boy Slim. Described by DJ Magazine “as one the top …. producers in the world of straight down the line, mainroom house music’ he is one of the industries most exciting and consistent artists.
Aydin is regularly invited by The Academy of Contemporary Music (Europe’s leading school for Rock & Pop Musicians) to lead music production seminars as a guest tutor and he is also a House music reviewer for M8 magazine.
