MN2S @ AKA, London (Fri Aug 29, 2008)

Fully embracing its newly increased capacity 29th August will witness MN2S return to The End and AKA for the fourth time this year. Following the hugely successful launch of MN2S at the clubs sister bar you can expect more of the same from the London house specialists. With Robbie Rivera, Michael Gray, Bart B More, Joey Negro, Groove Junkies, CJ Mackintosh, Jazzanova, Faze Action, and The Jinks the party looks set to go off with a talent heavy bang.

Robbie Rivera is currently one of the most in demand DJs in the world, his dj sets containing his infectious blend of tough sexy grooves have made sure of that. On a continuous world-tour, and with a diary resembling an airport departure board his music has recently packed-out the dance-floors of Ibiza, Barcelona, South America, Poland, Puerto Rico, NYC, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Asia, Italy, Tunisia, Canada, Moscow, Australia, Vienna, and of course his hometown of Miami. The list of names he’s remixed for, reads like a the winners circle at a international music awards party; Faithless, Felix Da Housecat, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Gabriel & Dresden, Moloko, Bob Sinclar, Benny Benassi, Sinead O'Connor, Ferry Corsten, Ricky Martin, Santana, Coburn, Superchumbo, David Guetta, Pink and Basement Jaxx are just a few of the names that have received the Rivera treatment.

Joining Robbie in the main room will be Michael Gray, one of the most respected and talented artists on the global dance music scene he is  accomplished in every sphere of the industry and hasn’t rested on the chart success of such tracks as ‘The Weekend’, ‘Borderline’ and Somewhere Beyond’. As well as producing and co-writing an album for Luciana he has his own record label and has recently signed his single Robot Man "Ready for this" with a full vocal to Phonetic for release this summer. To top off a busy schedule Michael has Remixed Danism "Strike" for release on MN2S this year.

And with Bart B More keeping the mix New Skool you can expect absolute house music rapture. Another prized gem from Fedde’s camp, the young Dutchman is blowing up all over Holland. This fresh new talent looks set to tear up The End’s dance floor!

Keeping things funky in the bar will be L.A. based duo, Groove Junkies. Influenced by soul, funk, R&B, jazz, gospel, and Latin rhythms, Groove Junkies play, produce, and write their own unique brand of hybrid grooves. Born and raised in New York and Detroit respectively, Evan & Parrish have gained support throughout the international dance community for their consistent quality of work, and an unbridled passion for soulful house music. Joined by MN2S residents CJ Mackintosh and The Jinks MN2S can’t wait to bring a taste of L.A to London’s The End.

Upstairs in AKA MN2S resident Joey Negro will be holding court. Playing his usual cocktail of disco, soul and all else that is groovy we can’t wait to see the bar popping and locking once more.  With Jazzanova and Faze Action keeping the mix eclectic and funky AKA looks set to have people making shapes left right and center for the second time running.
