Description

Main Hall: Brick Lane Music Festival
Arrows Of Love + Milk Kan + White Collar Weapons + Mano De Dios + Nadine Khouri

Following on from the success of last year 93 is once again offering a selection of brilliant and FREE live music and DJs as part of Brick Lane Music Festival. Occupying both the main hall and the bar which spills out into the hopefully sunny courtyard we have over 10 hours of fantastic music.

MAIN HALL FROM 4PM
ARROWS OF LOVE (formally Hush The Many) Nima, from Hush The Many leads the band into the next chapter with new musicians including Lewis from Jamie T and Clayton from Kid Harpoon. This impressive new line up brings a harder edge and this will be their first show before their headline gig at The Scala October 14th.

From South London via Nashville, MILK KAN release their awaited second single 'Here Ya Come Again & Again'- a limited edition white label 7", featuring the legendary Dolly Parton. A unique spin on the tortured love story twisted into the highs and lows between junkie and dealer. The B-side 'I Want My MTV To Want Me 'is a catchy gritty-guitar swipe at pop celebrity.

WHITE COLLAR WEAPONS Well played, corporate alt. pop with a hint of The Feeling or Plain White Ts.

MANO DE DIOS began as a rugged blend of flamenco, punk, rumba and samba - each member respecting their own roots. After two years playing together the music has developed beyond these influences into something extraordinary in its own right.

NADINE KHOURI "A London-based songwriter whose glorious self-released debut album 'Cuts from the Inside' shimmers with an intimate beauty which recalls the likes of Elliott Smith, Stina Nordenstam, Cat Power... a remarkably talented young lady." - Dan Carney, Tunetribe

In The Bar: Superfilth Crew + Seven Shades Of Sh*T + Aaron Audio + Ed Lee

PINK BAR DJs FROM 12pm
SUPERFILTH CREW (Arrow!!!, Oli D.A.B and Robin) An intimate, upbeat and forward thinking fidget/electro/breaks night that host a breaks and beeps mash up the last Friday of the month at 93.

SEVEN SHADES OF SH*T plays music that SHOUTS, STOPS & STARTS. Dance tracks that KICK IN THE EARS. DEADERS & HANGERS ON, STILTON STOMPERS, MEMORIES, MASH UPS and NORTHERN ELECTRO COUNTRY SOUL.

DJ ED LEE'S played alongside James Zabiela, Ashley Casselle, Dave Clarke and Funk D'void and was recently championed by Danny Howells as the next 'Best Breakthrough DJ'
