Iceland's most innovative music festival AIRWAVES celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and will land in East London for an all-night extravaganza of cutting edge music and culture. The line up features some of the world's hottest breaking bands and DJs including: The Whip, Teenagers, Metronomy, Florence and the Machine and many more.

The inaugural festival will be spread across FIVE of the best venues in East London and will showcase some of the finest international breaking talent for a cosmopolitan mix of live bands, electronic dance acts and top DJs.

Iceland Airwaves already have an international reputation as Festival experts, and their annual event in Reykjavik has become an integral part of the cultural life of the city. It has been running for nearly 10 years now and featured everyone from The Klaxons, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and Hot Chip to The Kills, Fatboy Slim and homegrown talent Sigur Ros. This year is their 10th anniversary and to celebrate they are branching out internationally and bringing the same electric experience to East London.

Set in one of the capitals most creative districts and using the East Ends favourite venues as a platform, the Airwaves team will be bringing together an explosive mix of breaking and established artists for a unique one-night extravaganza.

All of the venues will be given over EXCLUSIVELY to the Festival so that anyone with a wristband will be able to move freely between them taking in their favourite bands and DJs in everywhere from bars to clubs and even a old warehouse! There will also be surprise special guest appearances, these exclusive shows are guaranteed to stir excitement at the festival and will be kept a secret until the day of the festival.
