Description

With Progression making a home for itself at the FHT, we decided to go a bit extra for this one for all the music lovers out there. We have really pushed the boat out for this one, with a superb line up of Dj’s who have been making a great name for them selves. For this night Progression have lined itself up with monsters of trance AnjunaBeats, Superb Record label 5AM records, and one of the most known clubbing brands in the world, The Ministry Of Sound, plus using artists from one of the best up and coming nights in London, ‘Plastic Fondu’.

We are also using some South Coast Vibe to this party to make this one of the best nights to be in around London on the 30th. All this Talent of future Heroes of dance music, the line up includes:

DAN STONE

Dan has been a regular Dj on the club circuit for 10 years, but it’s only the last 2 years that he has established himself as one of the UK's up and coming producers.
His first solo single 'Tauro' (released in April 2005), soon gained worldwide recognition and stamped his named firmly on the trance circuit, getting plays from Armin Van Buuren & Paul Van Dyk and also reaching no.9 in the World DMC trance charts.
Since then Dan has gone on to remix and produce several tracks, including his biggest hit 'Made In Bahrain' which was signed to one of the biggest labels worldwide, Anjunabeats. The track gained support from every big name including Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Judge Jules, who play listed it on his Radio One show and Armin Van Buuren who made it 'Tune of the Week' on his A State of Trance radio show.
Dan's Dj diary has also keep him very busy, making appearances last year for Vaccine (Turnmills, London) Wildchild (SE One,London), Slide (Liverpool) & Gatecrasher unofficial After party (TPCC, Sheffield) as well as his local residencies for BIG & Radi8 (East Anglia) and hosting a monthly internet radio show, 'Melodic VIbes' on ETN.fm.
This year will see a lot more productions and releases scheduled. Collaborations are also lined up with Mike Koglin and Mark Eteson.

DAVE HORNE

Music has always been very important in Dave's life. He always tries to convey the "feel good factor" through the music he plays. One of his strengths is his ability to involve the audience in his sets, bringing a positive reaction from them. Dave has been DJing for over ten years. He was particularly inspired by the Euphoric Trance of the late 90's and started playing at parties / events whenever the opportunity arose. Dave now plays at a whole host of events throughout the UK, including regular appearances at the prestigious 'The Gallery' (now @ MINISTRY OF SOUND) in London, which has seen him play alongside the likes of ARMIN VAN BUUREN, ABOVE & BEYOND, ANDY MOOR, PAUL OAKENFOLD, Valentino Kanzyani and BT. Other high points have been supporting ERIC PRYDZ at FABRIC in London. In addition to this, he has provided guest mixes for a number of radio shows (including 'Galaxy FM') and has mixed live on Gavyn Mytchel's much respected 'Gallery Sessions' show on Ministry Of Sound Radio.

ADAM FLEXER

Currently studying music production in Manchester at SSR. Alongside this Adam produces a weekly online radio show called Captured Sounds which offers a selection of the best tunes from the progressive/trance scene with guest mixes from some of the biggest players around!

Adam is busy working on various projects for Galex Music who is responsible for record labels such as Five AM, Five Am Vibe, Tekelec Octavious (plus a few others!). As well as that Adam is also involved with Marc Vedo's Koolwaters .
Adam is one to look out for with the various influences, with Productions soon to be rocking the floor. Everyone at Progression is looking forward to seeing what Adam can bring on his Debut for Progression.

STEW EWANS

A people's person with a great passion for music. Stew is a gifted DJ playing various styles of dance music from underground house & Electro - Upfront Trance & Techno. Early influences came from the likes of Norman cook, judge Jules & Pete Tong with his essential selection show and in general the love of being a clubber and the vibe the music created. He spent the summer in Crete 2004 @The Booze Bar club was a key influence in shaping the attitude, style and education of this DJ playing 7 hour sets every night for four months. Since 2002 Stew has been DJing to crowds in various Different style & size venues playing, warm ups, weekly club residencies, international events, Open air events, radio events, self promoted events, club night events. Stew has played at several of the main dance music brands playing alongside some of the leading artists in the industry all over the UK and Europe at some of the most famous and biggest venues around including The Ritz, The Troxy, Evolution, and Tall Trees. Stew's productions are supported from some of the top artists in the industry.

SES MEHMI

Being an 80’s child and growing up in the 90’s, electronic music was always going to be a major part of Ses Mehmi’s up bringing. In the 90’s, Prodigy was a massive influence, along with SL2.

Style Wise, Sasha and Diggers are Ses’s biggest musical influences. Admiring them for both their technical mixing capabilities and timeless records they play. If Ses Mehmi had to pick, he would say his style is more Digweed playing deep and dark “grooved mastered” tracks.

Ses dj’ed at a night called Electrotek in Shoreditch and have played out many times since then, becoming a favorite with the Electronic Sessions crowd, with regular gigs at their sister night ‘Plastic Fondu’, and their legendary Boat Parties. Ses has also become a firm favorite with progression, with Progression Digital being his 3rd outing under the banner!

If you like Digweed then you will like Ses Mehmi. Often being referred to as “Mini Digweed” by friends and those in the know! His sets are full of musical colour, groove mastered baselines and variety. Ses Mehmi is very much a technical dj.

Current Influences of Ses Mehmi and favorite producers are:
Dusty Kid, Gui Boratto, Robert Babicz, Audio Fly, Radio Slave, Popof, Nick Muir, Pryda, Paul Woolford, Booka Shade, Kaliber, Tiefschwartz, M.A.N.D.Y, Dubfire,Minilogue, Adam K, Oxia, Satoshi Tomiie and many more.

With all this talent sloshing about, it wouldn’t be the same without out faithful residents completing this perfect party line up, After Hours fm’s Craig London, and Padded Cell’s Neil Bowles making a return as he was missing from action in July!
