In what has to be one of house music’s all-time premiership team-ups, May 5 sees Defected’s In The House party returning to its natural home, London’s world-leading venue- Ministry Of Sound.
True to form, we’re kicking things off in style. Your main man on the decks will be Dennis Ferrer, the NYC legend who’s curated the latest ‘In The House’ mix CD. Joining Dennis behind the turntables are a roster of international talent, namely Belgium’s Junior Jack & Kid Creme, and Italy’s Pasta Boys. Representing for the UK, meanwhile, you’ll find cockney likely lads Copyright, former M-People percussionist Shovell and, of course, Defected head honcho Simon Dunmore. Not to mention Room 3 which is being hosted by the Galaxy Allstars- Raymundo Rodriguez & Tony Garvey.
Or to put it another way: the world’s best house label are putting on a party in one of the world’s finest nightclubs.
