On Saturday 21st July Pukka Up returns to the Pacha for our second party of our exclusive monthly residency in the Big Smoke. For this huge night things get exciting as we welcome one of house music’s superstars Kurd Maverick to celebrate the launch of his new album on Cr2. After last month’s venture up the Thames and a banging afterparty at Pacha, with Nick Bridges and Abigial Bailey, tearing the roof off Pacha we look forward to one of our best parties yet.

Pukka Up has excelled in bringing down some truly outstanding guests to the plush confines of Pacha and this month we bring you the biggest of them all the mighty Kurd Maverick.This month Kurd releases along with Dirty South the first in a series of mix complilations with Cr2 full of their current hottest tracks from clubland. Pukka Up are delighted to have him along for the official Album launch party. Kurd will bring his unique style of twisted electro fuelled house which has gained support from such names as Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong and Deep Dish to name but a few with an ever growing following. He has remixed Robbie Williams "Lovelight", Basement Jaxx "Take Me Back To Your House", Bob Sinclar "Everybody Movin" and countless others including Erick Morillo, Paul Johnson, Steve Mac and Full Intention. Pukka Up brings you an exclusive London performance sure to have the very foundations of Pacha rocking with every beat.

For the July party, Connected will be taking the controls upstairs, and we are very pleased to be welcoming back Jesse James and the crew to turn up the heat deep into the night with their sexy, funky house. Downstairs, Kurd Maverick will be joined by Abigail Bailey, Luke Langson and our Pukka Up army, DJ OZ plus the legend that is DJ Fubar. All four will be launching into wild sets from screwed-up electro to uplifting funk to lubricate your dancing limbs all played in time with percussionist Wayne B.

Expect the freshest house music from eight kick arse DJs all night long. The Pukka Up movement has really started to make a mark on London’s difficult-to-please clubbers, not to forget the MTV parties on July 23rd in Ibiza’s set to move Pukka Up to a whole new level of sonic exploration.
