BANDS ON: PROCEED
Support: Siren Lake // We Are The Ocean // Without Skylight // Doppelganger
PROCEED:
Like no other band, PROCEED can progress from ferocious hardcore to thrash metal blastbeats to emotively harmonious melodies in a heartbeat but not sound overly complex, not seem laboured and not lose the listener at any juncture. This is what music in the new millennium is all about: intelligence, emotion, eclecticism, staunch originality and an unflinching spirit of independence.
Following some early line-up changes, the band have honed their sound into the tight, driven and thrilling entity it is today. They now have the personnel they need to deliver all the intricacies that provide their unique identity - the complex, tight and explosive rhythm section, the searing, often stirring guitarwork, the deft use of electronics that can in turn make the band sound both calming and terrifying, and similarly the co-vocal attack of frontman/sampler Adam Faires and guitarist Dan Lancaster. This is a band that understands the nature of music and the way it affects people, be it through composition or performance.
Siren Lake:
Since formind in mid-2006, Siren Lake have worked relentlessly to establish themselves as a formidable force in the British alternative scene; playing countless Northern shows and plenty of other excursions all over the country. With their debut EP, "Stars & Silver-Lined Clouds", Siren Lake plan to take things to the next level, stepping out of the comforts of Yorkshire and confronting the rest of the UK head-on. By mixing technical songwriting, balls-out aggression and stunning melodies, the band has managed to create and hone a sound that is entirely their own, and now it's time for them to bring that sound to the hungry masses.

Without Skylight:
Without Skylight are a Melodic hardcore band from Luton. The band is made up of 5 boys ranging from 16 to 18 years old. Their influences on their music mean that they try to add tuneful melodic riffs with brutal grindcore beatdowns making a very individual sound.
Doppelganger:
From Hatfield, Hertfordshire, comes Doppelganger, 5 young (and fairly attractive) mates, ready to rock the socks of you and your mum.
"Hertfordshire metal heads have come together with their own roots and tastes in music, to produce their very own, creating a very unique blend. Having taken elements from old-school to new-wave, fans across the spectrum of metal may all find something they like within the world of Doppelganger."
The band began early 2004 as La Fortiori, with Dookie and Nips. Since then the band has gone through some drastic line up changes, Nips moving between guitar and screaming duties a couple of times, original bassist Simon being replaced with all new bassist, Simon (its a different one trust me), Steve filling the guitarist slot and Alex completing the line up in Oct 2005 on Drums, until Dookie inevitably graduated, his place being taken by newest member Myles.
Since then Doppelganger have been doing their best to write kick ass music and perfecting their sound, getting ready to unleash it.....eventually
