Description

Manchester’s hottest weekday club party Vodka Island has been attracting the city’s most notorious party boys and girls for over two years to become the biggest and sexiest night on the student clubbing calendar. Over 1000 people turn up each and every week for some uniquely Vodka-inspired fun at the uber-glam Tiger Tiger.
As well as taking advantage of the outrageous drinks promotions including £1.55 for vodka & mixer and £7 for delicious cocktail pitchers, the dazzling crowds can get down to the a raucous soundtrack of the best cheese and party anthems, and the sexiest commercial RnB. Djs Carl Kennedy and B-Naughty (BBC 1Xtra) have built up a loyal following and monthly one-off events and celebrity PA performances have cemented the night’s reputation for being the most exciting student night in the city.

And this month sees perhaps our most exciting guest to date, VULA from Basement Jaxx. The multi-award winning singer/songwriter will be performing exclusively for us on the 29th June. Playing all the hits, including the floorstoppers Oh My Gosh and Freak U, plus some of her own solo material, it looks set to be a truly electrifying night. It’s not often fans can come and see artists at local club venues ‘It’s a real treat for our Manchester students to be able to come and see great music locally rather than having to travel to a national arena’ says promoter Matt Smith.
