Description
Hailing from Milton Keynes in the UK, FELLSILENT incorporate fierce polyrhythmic timings with tuneful but raw vocals and powerful riffing to concoct their own unique style of hard nosed metal.
Taking influence from the likes of Meshuggah, Poison The Well, The Dillinger Escape Plan and The Deftones, the five piece have played shows across the UK with other awesome up and coming bands such as SKINDRED and DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL, as well as recently co headlining a full Uk tour with ENTER SHIKARI
"An absolute triumph" - Rock Sound"Awesome" - Radio 1 Rock Show
"A frantic, urgent assault" - Rock Sound
"A badass band with waves of energy and passion" - Big Cheese
"Could this be the year's most exciting debut?" - Metal Hammer
Stepping forth from the grey, sullen skyline of Bristol, Ella are a vibrant force, the fire in their collective souls fuelling a musical conviction unparalleled by their peers. Mixing chaotic, jagged guitar work and searing aggression with angular melody and textured atmospherics, Ella are both swaggering and delicate in their approach; spine tingling vocal lines soaring from amidst off-kilter riffs without warning, but with rich rewards.
The Eyes Of A Traitor are a metal band local to Hertfordshire, most are from Harpenden. They consist of 5 boys, all 15 or 16 years young. They play a variety of different styles of metal, including sound scapes, polyrhythms and old school guitar harmonies, composing a variety of different sounds, making use of Meshuggah groove-esque riffs then going straight into a simple dirty harmony riff; they don't believe in sticking to the tired old simple beatdown or song structure, which has been completely overdone in the local scene.
NO MADE SENSE are three bad motherfuckers from Reading, UK.
With a penchant for the heavy, and a love of all things technical and progressive, the recent BASICK RECORDS signings are an epic and brutal tour de force.
The highly anticipated 17 minute long, 2 track EP produced by Dan Weller & Justin Hill (SIKTH) also features some stunning illustration from Dan Mumford (GALLOWS/ARCHITECTS) and is due for a full release late '07.
