Description

The Freemasons (Russell Small and James Wiltshire), the UK’s most successful (Grammy Nominated) Remixers return to Federation on Saturday 7th June 2008 for their second residency DJ set. Since coming to clubland’s attention with the much loved Jackie Moors sampling “Love On My Mind”, they followed this into the charts with “Watchin”, “Rain Down Love” and “Uninvited”, not forgetting their remix duties for Beyonce and Shakira, Gusto, Fat Boy Slim, Jamiroquai, Kelly Rowland and more! It is estimated that there were only 15 weeks in 2007 when the UK top 40 did not contain a Freemasons production of some description! They’ve co-produced “The One” on Kylie’s latest album “X” which will be released later in the year, along with their next single, “When You Touch Me” featuring Katherine Ellis. They’re in demand the world over, DJing recently from Sydney to Moscow to Ibiza and Federation Leeds can’t wait for them to grace our decks again. If you were lucky enough to witness their first Federation DJ set at Mission in December we know you’ll be back. Who can forget an atmosphere so electric, the capacity crowd stayed all night! The Freemasons will be joined by the funky faithful Greg Myers, and rising star Jason Guy in the house arena, Gary H, Gregg Holden in the Electro arena and SAS will be playing RetroFed in the classics room. Plus shows from our entertainers, Drag Queens and dancers. Book this date in your diaries now, and if you have to work Sunday, we recommend that you book the next day off to recover…
