The biggest names in rock and dance are set to descend on Loch Ness, Scotland this summer for the third monster Rock Ness music festival.
In a move guaranteed to thrill tens of thousands of discerning music fans, and boost the credentials of the festival for pursuing an inspired music policy, organisers have revealed an eclectic, genre-defying star line up.

The stellar line up continues with a double Scottish festival exclusive and Rock Ness coup, featuring two of the UK’s biggest live rock acts; RAZORLIGHT and EDITORS. Joining these music heavyweights will be Brazilian dance popsters CSS, fast rising indie favourites THE CRIBS and the incredible HADOUKEN!, hailed by many as defining the sound of a new generation.
Rock Ness favourites 2MANYDJS make a welcome return with their expanded increased capacity Radiosoulwax arena.
The inimitably cool ROISIN MURPHY promises to dazzle Rock Ness fans and joining the charismatic songstress will be a live performance from the glorious SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO. Also making a very special appearance is legendary Chicago house DJ FELIX DA HOUSECAT, one who can truly claim his place amongst the dance music elite.
XFM are returning to the highlands again this year as official broadcast partners and will be putting their name to the main stage to host the mighty fine line up and will broadcast live and exclusively to around 1.6 million people across the weekend.
Rock Ness, now firmly established as one of the most hotly anticipated summer music fixtures, is being staged this year on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June. For the third year it will take place on the shores of iconic Loch Ness, outside the village of Dores, four miles south-west of Inverness.
A dedicated campsite will be in place. Situated adjacent to the main site, festival goers can soak up the beauty of the ancient surrounding forests as well as enjoying panoramic views of mystical Loch Ness.
A dedicated pan-Scotland coach service will be operated by Citylink with shuttle buses from Inverness to Dores. Car parking will also be available adjacent to the site.
