Colours for Loch & Roll presented the first ever Live at Loch Lomond event, which was a huge success. It was our intention to introduce a new festival to the West coast of Scotland, with Loch Lomond an ideal location being situated15 minutes from Glasgow City Centre, and only 1 hours drive from 90% of Scotland's population.

This year's Live at Loch Lomond is shaping up to be the summer festival of choice with announcements of yet more acts, appealing to all ages and musical tastes. First up there's Idlewild, celebrating 13 years in the industry; the Edinburgh band will play the main stage on Sunday 3rd August.
Groove Armada
The festival is privileged to have confirmed the amazing Groove Armada, who celebrated their 10th anniversary in the music industry last year. The band will headline Saturday night along with The Audio Bullys, joining Sunday’s main act The Sex Pistols will have he pleasure with the self promoted Doug Walker.

Other acts confirmed as we go to press are festival favourites Ocean Colour Scene, who recently sold out three dates at Glasgow’s infamous Barrowlands; Attic Lights; The Dykeenies and The Complete Stone Roses, with further acts to be confirmed.

Legendary DJ Roger Sanchez will play the dance tent along with Carl Cox on Sunday. Roger, along with fellow New York DJ's David Morales and Danny Tenaglia, has become an icon of the European party scene, especially on the Spanish island of Ibiza, where he has maintained residency every summer since 2000.
New to this year’s event is the Good Vibrations tent in conjunction with legendary Glasgow music promoter, Paul Cardow. Paul and his PCL team will bring some amazing acts to this year’s event and we look forward to announcing them shortly. Already lined up are Peter Doherty who will perform a solo set and headline Saturday and Happy Mondays will headline on Sunday.

Dutch DJ and producer Fedde Le Grand is one of the latest DJs to be added to the line up for Carl Cox and friends’ tent at Live at Loch Lomond on Sunday 3rd August. Fedde will join Carl Cox, Sven Väth and Roger Sanchez!

One of the most requested DJs in the world, Fedde is also a respected producer and remixer. He is best known for his No1 hit ‘Put Your Hands Up for Detroit’ in 2006.

Special guests joining Sasha and Digweed in the Colours tent on Saturday will be DJs Anthony Pappa, Paulo Mojo, Jonathan Lisle and Neil Quigley.

The line up for the Good Vibrations stage at this year’s Live at Loch Lomond (2-3 August 2008) is hotting up with further additions to the line up just announced. Morcheeba and Unkle will grace the stage on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Unkle, founded in 1994 by James Lavelle, of Mo’ Wax fame, are renowned as being some of the hippest guys on the planet. March this year saw the release of their single ‘Restless’ featuring vocals from Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age.

Morcheeba, celebrating more than a decade in the industry, are taking a break from their world tour to bring their special blend of trip hop, rock, rhythm and blues and pop to the bonnie banks. The band released their sixth album Dive Deep in February 2008 and will be sure to get the crowd going with anthems like ‘The Sea’.

Roisin Murphy, the stylish, former Moloko singer will be wowing fans with her hits including those from her second album 'Overload' which features a heady mix of electronic anthems and soul-stirring pop songs, deep, dark funk and quirky lyrical genius.
